ACC referrals are the main pathway for injury-related specialist care. Private, insurance and direct enquiries are also possible.
How patients access medical care
1. ACC referral
Usually from a physiotherapist or GP for injury-related care.
2. Insurance or private referral
Referrals can also be made privately or through insurers.
3. Direct enquiry

ME/CFS referrals
The ME/CFS service is a diagnostic and early management clinic, not a routine long-term follow-up service. Priority is given to younger patients, recent illness and patients without a confirmed diagnosis or specialist assessment.
