Dr Judikje Scheffer
Dr Judikje Scheffer is a fully qualified Sport and Exercise Physician and Fellow of both the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians and the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
Originally from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, she graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2006 and worked in emergency medicine and general practice before moving with her family to New Zealand and developing a strong focus on sports and exercise medicine.

- Leadership roles including Medical Lead for the Black Sticks programmes and Chief Medical Officer for UCI Track Cycling World Cup events in Cambridge

Personal background
Outside of medicine, Judikje enjoys family life and staying active through rowing, cycling, coaching, and travel. She has been involved in rowing for over two decades and has coached athletes from novice to international U23 level. This lived experience informs her understanding of athlete development, performance demands, and long-term health in sport.
